The fecund neter of the river, his name means 'inundation'  linked with Nun as the primordal water and Osiris as a fertility god, his home was a watery cavern beneath the first cataract of the Nile near Elephantine. He appears as a blue green naked man and pendulous breasts. From these breasts flow the twin sources of the white Nile and blue nile.
He is seated toward a table of offerings which indicate an abundant harvest. A other times he holds two jars which the Nile waters pours forth.
