Purva Bhadrapada

Purva Bhadrapada is a serious star concerned with significant personal transformation.

Purva means ‘first’  Bhadra has many meanings -  ‘beautiful, auspicious, blessed, gracious and happy’ The blessing usually comes from good deeds and past lives which are now experienced as good luck. Good fortune relates to good family, excellent relationships, wonderful children and a good life, where knowledge and wisdom guide us to find the true beauty - the loveliness of a good soul.

Bhadrapada also means 'blessed step'  ; it refers to the hearse; the vehicle that carries a dead body to its final destination. The blessed steps then become the trail from which we journey from this life to the next.

They may be seen living polar extremes, depending on the working of this nakshatra in their chart.

Purva Bhadrapada literally translates to 'the former lucky feet' This is the beginning of the final journey. The culmination of all the information gathered from the former nakshatras is not enough for this native, he wants to taste it, live it, absorb it to really know it.
